Hookups is a Steam group, which reports regularly on the best digital video game deals on the web. The group is about 6 years old and it currently has about 35,000 members. We often do giveaways and special Hookups events.

Hookups strives to bring you the best deals on brand new PC games. It was started by one guy named Sam, before Hookups he would deal with various people from all around the world getting deals and he was really good at it. Then one day he decided to share his knowledge of deals and how to find them with other people and that’s how Hookups came to be.

SteamHookups.com is the group’s official website run by the owner and officers of the group. The webshop operates like a marketplace, anyone who has digital product keys are allowed to sell them here on the site.

Add the game to your cart, go to the Checkout page, make sure you are logged in (If you don’t have a login then register on the site). You enter the required informations and click on the checkout button. When you are on the PayPal page you can review your order before making your final purchase.

If you have bought a Steam game

You need to have the Steam client installed on your computer to activate your product.

If you haven’t installed it yet, please go to http://store.steampowered.com/about/ and download the latest version. After you have installed it you have to create / use your existing account before you can activate your product key(s).

Please Note that the product will be activated for the account which you are logged in.

If you have bought a game for Ubisoft Uplay

1. Go to: http://uplay.ubi.com and download Uplay client.

2. Install Uplay Client on your PC.

3. Start the application, login with your Account name and Password (create one if you don’t have).

4. Please follow these instructions to activate a new retail purchase on Uplay:

  •     Click the Settings
  •     Choose Activate Product
  •     Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
  •     Enjoy your brand new game!

If you have bought a game for Origin

1.  Go to: http://www.origin.com/us/about.

Click “Download Origin” (from the upper left corner)

2.  Install and start application, login with your Account name and Password

(create one here: http://store.origin.com/ if you don’t have).

3.  From the “Origin” drop-down menu (upper left corner) choose “Redeem Product Code…”,

enter your code and click “Next”.

4.  After successful code verification go to the “MY GAMES” tab and start downloading.

If you have bought a game for Xbox One

If you have bought a game for Playstation 4

1, Open a Sony Network Entertainment account on PSN (or use your existing Sony Entertainment Network account).
2, Select the PlayStation Store icon on the PS4 system home screen.
On PlayStation Store, select ‘Redeem Codes’ at the bottom of the menu.
Enter the code.
3, Once the code has been entered correctly, select ‘Continue’ on the dialog box.
4, Select ‘Confirm’ to accept the Terms of Service.
5, Select ‘Continue’ to complete code redemption.

If you have bought a game for Xbox 360

If you have bought a game for Playstation 3

If you have bought a game for Wii U

Please read the ‘How can I activate my product key?‘ section above.

Your product keys should be clearly visible in the email we have sent you after you have completed your payment, but you can also view your product keys below your ‘My Account‘ page. Click on ‘View Order‘ near your order and you should be able to see the attached keys.

In the case of backorders you cannot view your product key under your ‘My Account‘ page, the keys are only viewable in the email which was sent to you by the seller. If you have not received any emails, please file a support ticket.

Many of our sellers buy product keys in bulk.  After the seller buys them in bulk, the seller gives you the bulk price while making little profit. We try to give you the best price possible.

What other businesses do is buy in bulk and sell at max price, we strive to never do that to you.

At the moment SteamHookups only supports PayPal. PayPal provides a secure and easy-to-use solution for online payments. On the site of PayPal you may pay with your credit card or by using your PayPal account.

Normally

You receive your key(s) as soon as you complete your payment on PayPal’s page. In most cases you receive your key(s) at most 5 minutes after you clicked on the ‘Pay Now’ button and successfully paid for your order.

Please note, that very rarely the transaction can take up to 12-24 hours.

Backorders

If you have backordered a product key the seller will email you with the product key(s). Delivery may take up to 48 hours.

Backorder means, that the seller has no product key left in stock, but the seller has allowed backorders on the product, so he/she is able to get more keys if needed within a short period of time.

The delivery method differs from the normal, because normally our system sends out the key(s), but in the case of backorders, the seller has to email the key(s). Backordered keys cannot be viewed under the My Orders section.

To change your account information, please go to your ‘Edit Account‘ page and enter the desired password.

To change your password, please go to your ‘Edit Account‘ page and enter the desired password. You will need to provide your old password in order to edit your password.

If you have lost your password you can recover it, by entering your email address on the following page: https://steamhookups.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword.

If you didn’t get the email, please contact us via Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Hookups.

You can contact one of the admins in Hookups and they will direct you to the web masters over the site. If you would like you can ask for an admin to contact you via the comment or contact us via group chat or by starting a thread asking for help in recovering your password.

Please provide an order number and we will be able to find your account easier.

Please do NOT leave your email anywhere within the group discussions. An admin will contact you to get that info to help you out with the lost password issue.

First off, don’t panic!! If you didn’t get your order in a timely manner then you have a couple options. We suggest waiting at least 24 hours before filing a support ticket against the seller.

Don’t worry Hookups has your back on this, we don’t condone fraud and will make sure the seller does NOT get his money. If a seller is planning on fraud and the buyer reports it then it will be investigated thoroughly.

If a buyer is trying to commit fraud it will be investigated through also. We want to protect the buyer and seller at all costs to make sure no fraud happens.

With Normal Orders

You should receive your product keys within 5 minutes after you have completed the purchase.

Backorders

Please note, that if you have backordered a game it can take up to 48 hours to deliver it. You should have an email sent to you within reasonable time.

If you feel like reaching out, you should file a support ticket.

If you had any issues, or you had an unpleasant experience because of a seller at SteamHookups, please feel free to report it by opening a support ticket.
